PEARL — Bernard Brown died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, in Pearl. He was 59.

Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Lenzy and Beatrice Johnson-Brown; and one brother, David Brown.

He is survived by one brother, Arthur Brown of Port Gibson; seven sisters, Rosetta Brown, Mary Ann Brown, Beatrice Majors, Lucille Bradley and Leuntine Brown, all of Kansas City, Kan., Willie Ruth Pannell of Lee’s Summit, Mo., and Carolyn Buck of Port Gibson; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home of Port Gibson with the Rev. Barry Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 until 6 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. Saturday until the service.
