Ruby Price Hunt died Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Promise Specialty Hospital of Vicksburg. She was 90.

Born in Vicksburg, she was the daughter of the late Carl Lewis Delkerscamp and Mary Ethel Cotham Delkerscamp.

Mrs. Hunt was a dearly loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by two daughters, Loretta Yates and her husband, Chester, and Julia Trawle and her husband, Mike, all of Vicksburg; one son, Richard Price and his wife, Leigh, of Columbia, Miss.; 10 grandchildren, Latta Herring, Robert Harper, Kirk Harper, Paige Broom, Terri Ellsworth, Erin Trawle, Chuck Yates, Lauren Genova, Chet Yates and Kirsten Yates; and 18 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Price and Odis Hunt; and a daughter, Dorothy Jean Harper.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Riles Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J’Roy McComb officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 until 7 p.m. and Saturday from 1 p.m. until the service.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Yates, Carl Yates, Wayne Herring, Cole Price, Joshua Price and Wayne Herring Jr.
