The engagement of Brandi Rae Lingle of Raymond to Joel Earnest Greer of Vicksburg is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 4 p.m. March 20, 2010, at Hinds Independent Methodist Church in Raymond. A reception will follow at the Dupree House in Raymond. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Lingle is the daughter of Terry and Leslie Horn of Raymond. She is the granddaughter of Katherine Robbins and the late Du’Aine Robbins of Clinton.

Mr. Greer is the son of Charles Greer and Jackie Greer of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect graduated as salutatorian from Rebul Academy. She received a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Miss Lingle is an occupational therapist with University of Mississippi Healthcare.

The prospective groom attended Warren Central High School and Rebul Academy.

He is a firefighter with the Vicksburg Fire Department.
