Qasims celebrate 50th

Dr. Mohammad “Mo” and Mary Qasim celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 18, 2010. They were married in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1960.

Dr. Qasim is a research chemist at ERDC. Mrs. Qasim is a Warren County Master Gardener and a member of the Morning Gardeners Garden Club, Vicksburg Art Association and Mississippi Artists Guild.

The Qasims have two children and six grandchildren.
