Miss Bricka to marry Mr. Perdue on May 15

Dr. and Mrs. Ray Mark Bricka of Starkville announce the engagement of their daughter, Shelby Paige, to William Keeling Perdue II. Mr. Perdue is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Keeling Perdue and Mallory Divine Perdue, all of Atlanta.
Miss Bricka is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Dale White of Starkville and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Lorenz Bricka of Nashville, Tenn.
Mr. Perdue is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Thomas Divine of Albany, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Keeling Perdue of Americus, Ga.
The bride-elect graduated as salutatorian from St. Aloysius High School in 2002.
She graduated summa cum laude in 2006 from Auburn University, where she received a Bachelor of Building Science degree. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority and Phi Kappa Phi honor society. She served in the Wesley Foundation and was an Auburn student recruiter.
She graduated magna cum laude in 2009 from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate degree.
Miss Bricka is a member of the Georgia State Bar and is employed with the Georgia Senate Budget and Evaluation Office.
The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Wheeler High School in Marietta, Ga., and is an Eagle Scout.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice in 2005 from Auburn University, where he was in the Wesley Foundation.
Mr. Perdue graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia, where he received a Master of Public Administration degree in 2007.
Vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. May 15, 2010, at Northside United Methodist Church in Atlanta. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.
