County woman jailed, accused of auto theft

A Vicksburg woman was in the Warren County Jail today charged with auto theft.

Jennifer Lee, 29, 217 Lampkin Mountain Road, is accused of taking a 1999 Chevrolet S-10 pickup Friday from a home in the 100 block of Ironwood Drive, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said.

“She apparently had been staying with the victim, said Pace. “The truck was found wrecked on Stenson Road on the night of the 16th,” he said.

Lee was arrested at a home in the 2000 block of China Grove Road at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday and remained in jail on a $2,500 bond.

Four refrigerators taken from trailers

A weapon and four refrigerators were reported missing Tuesday in two Vicksburg burglaries, police Sgt. Sandra Williams said.

A Ruger .45-caliber handgun and two clips valued at $500 together were reported stolen from a 2001 Ford F-150 in the 40 block of Bellaire Drive at 3:36 p.m.

An hour earlier, four refrigerators valued at $350 each were reported stolen from four manufactured homes at a park in the 300 block of Bayou Boulevard.

“All of the mobile homes were vacant,” said Williams.

City woman held for probation violation

A Vicksburg woman was in the Warren County Jail today on a probation violation, records showed.

Crystal Owens, 28, 603 N. Poplar St., was being held without bond.

Golf clubs, tools taken in county

In Warren County, golf clubs and power tools were reported missing Tuesday from a carport in the 100 block of Hunters Crest Circle, records showed.

At 11:24 a.m., TaylorMade golf clubs and a Callaway golf bag valued at $2,500, a Stihl leaf blower valued at $150 and a DeWalt 18-volt drill valued at $250 were reported stolen.
