Gleneva Bowman Flowers

Gleneva Bowman Flowers, former resident of Vicksburg, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, in Lynwood, Ill., following a brief illness. She was 93.
Mrs. Flowers was a homemaker and a devoted member of Mount Ararat M.B. Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Flowers Sr.; sons, Robert, William and Carl; parents, Odie and Melissa Bowman; sisters, Minnie Meeks, Catherine Bowman and Ruby Hall; and brothers, Sam and William Bowman.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Gladys and Frank Cage Jr. of Lynwood; sons, Edward Flowers of Vicksburg and Michael Flowers (Mercer) of Brandon; grandchildren, Jamita Goodwin (Turner), Michayla Flowers, Ebony Gardner (Derrick), Edward Anthony Flowers and Travis Flowers; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Taylen Goodwin; stepgrandchildren, Renee Frizzle (Jerome), Marvin, Ronnell and Dennis Flowers III.
Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
