This string band from Utica, photographed before 1900, included, from left, William F. Stevens, Daniel Howard Leonard Stevens, Miles Luster, Victor Hebron Stevens, Verna Mae “Dollye” Vaughn, Irvin Mobley and Caleb P. Vaughn. Daniel H.L. Stevens was a Union veteran who married a Utica girl. Caleb Vaughn was veteran of Woods Confederate Cavalry. The photo is from the Old Court House Museum collection and was given by John Hall.
