The Vicksburg Post, a strong believer in education, has a program to promote literacy and reading. Newspapers in Education provide FREE newspapers as a tool of instruction to our local NIE teachers.

This is where you can make a difference!

The Vicksburg Post provides the papers at the lowest possible education rate and, with your donation, teachers will receive the newspaper at no cost to them. By becoming a partner in our Newspaper in Education program you will encourage students to develop their reading ability, increase their social awareness, build character, enrich their civic education and so much more.

Together we can make a difference in the quality of the education our children receive. Your donation will allow teachers and students access to the only textbook that is updated daily, “The Newspaper.”

As a sponsor, your business will be recognized throughout the year with a “Thank You” in The Vicksburg Post. During the year, if you request, an NIE Sponsor logo can be added to any ad you run.

As an organization/class sponsor, throughout the year you will be recognized with a “Thank You” in The Vicksburg Post. When you send your donation, give the name of the group/organization, and the names of the individuals that participated in the donation.
