The engagement of Jennifer Lee Smith of Flowood to Nicholas Lane Walker of Sandhill is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. July 24, 2010, at Refuge Church of Vicksburg. A reception will follow at the church. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Smith is the daughter of Ted and Graylyn Crotwell and Bobby and Abbrica Smith, all of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of Ted Sr. and Inez Crotwell, Willie C.L. and Katie Smith and the late Kenna Mills, all of Vicksburg.

Mr. Walker is the son of Lela and Allen Parish of Flora. He is the grandson of Maija Langford and the late H.L. Langford of Sandhill.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Vicksburg High School, where she was a member of the band, National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta.

She received a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Miss Smith is a hygienist at Germany Dental in Brandon.

The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Pisgah High School. He is employed at Quality Glass & Mirror in Sandhill.
