ROLLING FORK — Homer Gore died Friday, May 14, 2010, at Sharkey-Issaquena Hospital in Rolling Fork. He was 85.

He was born in Calhoun County and lived most of his life in the Rolling Fork area. He was formerly employed at Western Auto and Delta Elastics and farmed until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Wanda Gore of Rolling Fork; daughters, Connie Nipper and Sandie Williams of Rolling Fork; and grandchildren, Darla Mahalite, Baeley Williams, Will Nipper, Justin Nipper and Niki New; and great-grandchildren, Keagan Helms and Shelbee Nipper.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork until the hour of the service.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at County Line Cemetery in Glen Allan with the Rev. Jerry Paul Edwards officiating.

Glenwood Funeral Home of Rolling Fork is in charge of arrangements.
