William Wayne Whatley

William Wayne “Wade” Whatley died Friday, May 14, 2010, at his residence. He was 58.
Born in Vicksburg, Mr. Whatley was a graduate of Warren Central High School and retired from the Corps of Engineers with 32 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for fishing and hunting. Mr. Whatley was a member of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his daughter, Debra Dareen Whatley of Grayson, La.; his mother, Ruby P. Whatley of Redwood; two grandchildren, Skyler Perrin and Madalyn “Redbug” Davis; two sisters, Gail Wells and her husband, Henry, of Vicksburg and Debra Robinson and her husband, Billy Ray, of Brandon; and a brother, Marion Whatley and his wife, Peggy, of Cleburne, Texas.
He was predeceased by his father, William W. “Bill” Whatley.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Riles Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Biedenharn officiating. Burial will be at Green Acres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. Tuesday until the service.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Evans, Trae Wells, Billy Wade Robinson, Dusty Ray Robinson, Casey Lee Robinson, David Ray Whatley and Mitch Martin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Doss Shropshire, Thomas Sanderford, Glen Wells, Mitch Martin, Larry Conrad and Charles Pettway.
