While listening to 1490 AM talk radio Thursday morning, our mayor called in and demonstrated the simple difference between a liberal and a conservative. Sounding like one of Bennie Thompson’s staffers, Mayor Winfield praised Thompson for bringing home the pork for Vicksburg. Never mind that the country is being murdered by Obama and his minions like Thompson.

My grandson asked me years ago how he could tell if a person was a liberal or a conservative. I told him to bring up any political issue with the person and during the discussion determine if the person’s primary concern was the effect of the issue on him personally or for its effect on the country generally. If his primary concern was for himself, he is a liberal. If his primary concern was for his country, he is a conservative.

Mayor Winfield clearly demonstrated he is a liberal.
