Michael Brown died Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at his home. He was 40.

Mr. Brown was a 1988 graduate of Vicksburg High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Word of Faith Christian Center.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Lee Brown; a brother, David Brown Jr.; and a maternal grandmother, Mary Lee Tuckenberry.

Survivors include his wife, Regina Brown of Vicksburg; a son, Daniel Taylor of Vicksburg; two daughters, Mercedes Taylor of Vicksburg and Kionna Taylor, both of Vicksburg; his father, the Rev. David Brown Sr. of Vicksburg; three sisters, Cheryl Lane and Bernice Harris, both of Vicksburg, and Deborah Willis of Pearl; three brothers, Ronald Brown and David Earl Brown, both of Portland, Ore., and Derrick Brown of Jackson; and other relatives and friends.
