The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Information Technology has named Scott Partridge as operations officer.

Partridge, who previously worked as a software manager for two years with the department, will be responsible for all daily operational procedures.

He has worked as a system administrator with a contract company supporting the Vicksburg District since 1995.

He was in the U.S. Navy for fours years and was a process control technician with Entergy at Baxter Wilson Steam Plant.
