Tobin and Koestler to marry in Meridian

The engagement of Ginger Tobin of Meridian to James Koestler of Vicksburg is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 1:30 p.m. June 26, 2010, at Meridian Church of Christ. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Miss Tobin is the daughter of Terry and Beth Dyer and Rick Tobin, all of Meridian. She is the granddaughter of the late Harold Turley and Norma Gritter and the late Francis and Carrie Tobin, all of Florida.
Mr. Koestler is the son of Barney and Tina Koestler of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of Reggie and Dewell Crawford, Leo V. Koestler Jr. and Carolyn W. Koestler, all of Vicksburg. He is the great-grandson of Lena Weaver of Vicksburg.
The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Lamar High School, where she was a cheerleader and member of the Student Council, dance team, National Honor Society, Beta Club and Mu Alpha Theta.
She served as president of both the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Dusty Social/Service Club.
Miss Tobin graduated in May from Delta State University, where she was a member of Psi Chi psychology honor society, Mu Phi Epsilon, Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities and the Delta Belle dance team.
The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Warren Central High School, where he was a member of the band, choir and Mu Alpha Theta.
He graduated in December from Delta State University, where he was a career ambassador and member of the Chamber Singers and wind ensemble.
He served as president of both the Inter-Fraternity Council and Phi Mu Alpha.
Mr. Koestler is employed with the Panola Public School District.
