With reference to the June 5 article “Minnesota cheap shot: Candidate uses Mississippi in punchline,” how about punching back?

Those cheap shots have been going on since 1865. One problem is we don’t fight back.

I have a great idea. Why doesn’t Mississippi create a Department for Apology Demands. Every time a derogatory statements is made about Mississippi, our DAD could call a nationwide press conference to demand an apology. Other elements do it all the time and they get results. We can do it, too. Soon the world will realize we are finally fighting back.
