NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Titans have suspended linebacker Gerald McRath without pay for the first four games of the upcoming season for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
McRath’s suspension starts Sept. 4, and he cannot return to the roster until Oct. 4.
McRath started five games at outside linebacker as a rookie in 2009. He has been working at that spot all offseason and is a strong candidate to earn the job this season.
He was a fourth-round draft pick out of Southern Miss.
