Local tennis players medal at State Games

Several local tennis players competed in the State Games tournament June 11-13 in Meridian. On the girls’ side, Carley Lane of Collierville defeated silver medalist Lauren Pratt of Vicksburg 4-6, 6-0, 6-3 to take the win in the 16-year-olds’ division.
Nashville’s Gabriel Faulcon defeated William Pratt of Vicksburg 6-4, 6-1 to take the boys’ 12-year-olds’ division gold medal. Pratt took the silver.
