Miss Dorman, Mr. Dampf to wed

Stacy Michelle Dorman and Paul Martin Dampf, both of Baton Rouge, will be married at 7 p.m. Sept. 4, 2010, at Baton Rouge Country Club.
Miss Dorman is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Russell Dorman of Baton Rouge. She is the granddaughter of Jean Dorman and the late Jessie Ozro Dorman and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles James Ruble, all of Jackson.
Mr. Dampf is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Martin Dampf of Baton Rouge. He is the grandson of Aileen W. Dampf of Baton Rouge and the late Ernest A. Dampf and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Preis Marcus Sr. of Vicksburg.
The bride-elect is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge and Our Lady of the Lake College, School of Nursing, in Baton Rouge.
Miss Dorman is a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at LSU Health Sciences Center-Earl K.M. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge.
She is a member of the Junior League of Baton Rouge and Pi Beta Phi sorority.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Episcopal High School in Baton Rouge, Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Va., and LSU’s Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in New Orleans.
Upon completion of his residency, Mr. Dampf will begin a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson in July. He is a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity.
The couple’s engagement was announced at a party at the home of Dr. Tom Kiebach.
