Wreck near Tallulah kills man

A Eunice, La., man died in a head-on collision Monday on U.S. 65 three miles south of Tallulah.
Harry Ingram, 48, died after a southbound 2010 Chevrolet pickup driven by Donald Vandersypen, 42, crossed the median and hit Ingram’s northbound 2008 GMC pickup, said Trooper 1st Class Mark Dennis of the Louisiana State Police.
Vandersypen, of Alexandria, was taken to the Madison Parish Hospital and airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Dennis said.
Vandersypen was stable and in good condition, hospital spokesman Peggy Wagner said.
Ingram was pronounced dead at the scene by the Madison Parish Coroner’s Office.
