Sherry Bartlett and Mr. and Mrs. William O’Malley Jr. of Natchez announce the engagement of their daughter, Marron Hope O’Malley, to Nathan Earl Smith. Mr. Smith is the son of Edwin Smith and the late Dianne Smith of Vicksburg.

Miss O’Malley is the granddaughter of Carol Wallace and the late Charles Wallace Sr. and Bill O’Malley Sr. and the late June O’Malley, all of Natchez.

Mr. Smith is the grandson of the late Earl and Virginia Smith of Brookhaven and the late Maj. A.D. and Margaret Brown of Dadeville, Ala.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Adams County Christian School, Delta State University and the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Miss O’Malley is pursuing a degree in nursing.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Warren Central High School and Mississippi State University.

Mr. Smith is employed at Staffing Solutions Ltd. in Ridgeland and Mortgage Consultants of Flowood.

The wedding will be at 7 p.m. July 24, 2010, at Dunleith Plantation in Natchez. A reception will follow.
