Sarah Younker-Koeppel, far left, and her husband, Chris Koeppel, lead the pack Saturday during Vicksburg’s March for Babies at River Region Medical Center. About 50 walkers participated in the event, which raised more than $10,000 for the March of Dimes, an organization that fights infant mortality, birth defects and premature births. The Koeppels’ daughter, Ellie, died last year after being born 10 weeks prematurely. She was 6 days old.
