Geraldine M. Miller died Saturday, June 26, 2010, at Promise Specialty Hospital. She was 83.

Mrs. Miller was born in Bermuda, where she lived for 19 years. She was a resident of Brooklyn, N.Y., for 33 years and had lived in Vicksburg since 1983. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ermyn Davis Adams; and her adopted parents, Murry and Pansy Fox.

Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Owsiniski and Regina Osburn, both of Brooklyn, and Ermyn Hines of Vicksburg; two sons, Edward Miller and Robert Miller, both of Greenville; a sister, Mary Kearns of Niagara Falls, Canada; three brothers, Monty Fox of Shelbyville, Tenn., and Arthur “Pete” Adams and William “Ted” Adams, both of Bermuda; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home

. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Carroll Smith, Eddie Smith, Mike Barber, Thomas James, Charles Joiner and Sonny Ethridge.
