New leadership, same indifference

What about me? I said this on July 17, 2006, a year after my brother David Wayne “Jones” Anderson was gunned down by an “unknown” coward in a drive-by shooting on Walnut Street. But the shooter is known. Somebody knows him.

The people of Vicksburg complained about the old administration. Well, when it comes to finding my brother’s killer, what has the new administration done? Absolutely nothing. One detective tried to put it on someone who is already dead so I would stop going to the police station.

One would think the news administration would have contacted one of my family members about the case, but that’s not true. It has been five years since our brother was killed and the case is still unsolved. It seems the new administration has not improved from a year ago.

If you want to shine, solve this case. Then I can say there is improvement beyond changes in staff.
