GREENVILLE — The Greenville School Board has reinstated six sports programs suspended because of funding problems.
The Delta Democrat Times reports the board voted Monday to reinstate baseball, slow-pitch softball, tennis, soccer, golf, and powerlifting.
The action came after community leaders and booster clubs pledged to raise $20,000 from private donations to pay for pay for meals, equipment, transportation, and game officials.
