Hallie Armilda Walker Dunaway

WELLSVILLE, Kan. — Hallie Armilda Walker Dunaway died Monday, July 19, 2010, at her home in Wellsville, Kan. She was 82.

Mrs. Dunaway was born in Gulfport to Henry A. and Virgie Williams Walker. She was a member of Wellsville Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and participated in Vacation Bible School activities.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Wallace and Mary Walker.

She is survived by her husband, Robert W. Dunaway, whom she married in Vicksburg; two daughters, Emma Shows of Helena, Ala., and Eva L. Kolosiek of Wellman, Iowa; two sons, Brian Dunaway of Wellsville and Troy Dunaway of Charlottesville, Va.; a sister, Ann Guerard of South Carolina; a brother, Henry Walker II of Arkansas; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and other relatives.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wellsville Baptist Church. Visitation will be at the church from 1 p.m. Thursday until the service.
