Ricky Ceol and Seeley Cole lay carpet at River City Rescue Mission’s thrift store on Washington Street Tuesday as part of a $2,000 remodeling at the Washington Street facility. The work, funded by donations from the community, is keeping the store closed until Thursday while the walls and shelves are painted and the new carpet is installed. The mission continues to take donations through its back door.
