Malcolm K. Harmon

PEARCY, Ark. — Malcolm K. Harmon, age 70, formerly of Vicksburg, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010.

Mr. Harmon was born on Sept. 14, 1939, in Yazoo County, Miss., to John Leonard Harmon and Inez Potter Harmon. He was a Baptist in faith, and was employed as a welder for Vicksburg Chemical Company until retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister-in-law, Louise Harmon.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Dot Harmon of Pearcy; his daughter and son-in-law, Tamara and Dusty Wilson of Pearcy; two grandchildren, Jeremiah Wilson and Tabatha Wilson, both of Pearcy; and one brother, Doug Harmon of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010, at the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Hot Springs, with the Rev. Lynn Baxter officiating.

Interment, under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Center Fork Baptist Church Worship Fund for the Music Department, 1101 S. Moore Road, Hot Springs, AR 71913-8566.
