For Chase Smith, three-peats are so last year. Four-peats are all the rage now.

Smith, a senior golfer at Delta State, will try to win the Warren County Golf Championship for the fourth straight year when play begins Saturday at Clear Creek Golf Course.

Smith broke the course record last year in the first round, carding a 10-under 62. He struggled the next day in the final round but still managed to hold off Mike Hurley to claim the county title for the third straight year. Another win this week would break a tie with Bucky Buckner, who won three straight county titles from 1981-83.
