Thumbs up for Paws

I shall never forget the day Southern Paws Rescue came to my home after an emergency call for “help” due to the cat population.

Leigh Conerly called and told me Diane was coming with food, traps and, most of all, her time and expertise. Did we catch cats, feral and otherwise? I was in awe as approximately 25 cats were removed neutered and spayed over a two-week period. These ladies do not quit until the job is done.

My hat is off to these ladies, and I shall not forget their kindness — so polite and so professional. Diane would not stop until this mission was complete, and I hugged her every day.

People, please don’t dump or bring animals to Scott Road. Be humane, and do the right thing!
