A Utica man was arrested Friday and charged with embezzling construction equipment from his employer, Vicksburg police Sgt. Sandra Williams said.

William Vickers, 41, 6107 Mississippi 18, was taken into custody by police at a residence on Tiffintown Road, where he was working on a construction project, Williams said. The complaint regarding the missing equipment was made April 26, she said, with some of the property recovered April 30.

Vickers was in the Warren County Jail Friday night. Bond was set at $10,000.
