Ex-resident named to economic panel

Charlotte Koestler, former interim director of the now-defunct Vicksburg-Warren Community Alliance, has been elected to the board of directors of the Mississippi Economic Development Council.
Koestler, elected during an MEDC meeting in Biloxi, is executive director of the Stone County Economic Development Partnership, a position she has held for the past three years. Also, she is president of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Alliance for Economic Development.
MEDC is an association of community and economic development and Chamber of Commerces from across the state.
