Janet June Basel died Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, in Vicksburg. She was 86.

Mrs. Basel was a member of the Vicksburg Senior Center Bridge Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert G. and Hedwig M. Reich Wall; and a sister, Margaret Clara Wall Swenson.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Lutz of Vicksburg; two sons, James Edward Basel of Georgia and Gerald Thomas Basel of California; one brother, Robert Thomas Wall of Michigan; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be at the church from 3 p.m. Thursday until the service.
