Services for Barney Ray Brown will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James M.B. Church in Edwards with the Rev. Otis Harris officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Church Cemetery in Bovina. Visitation will be Friday at Robbins Funeral Home with family hour from 5 until 6 p.m.

Mr. Brown died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010, at Covenant Rehabilitation Center. He was 62.

Born in Vicksburg, he attended Mid-South Barber College and Jackson State University. He was a barber at the Tigers Modernized Barber Shop on the JSU campus for more than 40 years. He was a member of Edwards Revival Center.
