JUSTIN, Texas — Lisa Katherine Hampton, 46, passed away Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at Longmeadow Health Care in Justin, Texas. Visitation will be from 1 until 3 p.m. Wednesday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Spring Hill Cemetery.   

Mrs. Hampton was preceded in death by her father, John Scarff.

She is survived by a daughter, Melissa Hampton of Petal; mother, Patricia Scarff of Rhome, Texas; sisters, Tonia Barrett and husband Dean of Cleburne, Texas, and Sheryl Loper and husband Robert of Newark, Texas; brothers, Dane Scarff and wife Darlene of Augusta, Ga., and Wade Scarff and Travis Aaron Hadwin, both of Pensacola, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
