A Vicksburg woman was in the Warren County Jail this morning accused of taking money from her employer.

Denise Kemper, 28, 1015 Urban Court, was arrested by Vicksburg police at 2:53 p.m. Wednesday while at work at Kangaroo gas station, 3140 Indiana Ave., and charged with embezzlement, Lt. Bobby Stewart said.

Kemper was accused of taking $750 in cash and merchandise, Stewart said.

She was held without bond because of a drug court probation violation, he said.
