A Vicksburg man was in the Warren County Jail Saturday on charges of aggravated domestic violence, jail records showed.

Antonio Ragsdale, 32, 1415 High St., was arrested around 11 Friday night by Vicksburg police.

Ragsdale had choked his female victim at a residence on Davenport Alley to the point that she nearly passed out, said Sgt. Beverly Prentiss. The victim did not go to a hospital, Prentiss said.

Ragsdale was being held without bond pending his initial appearance in court.

Vicksburg man jailed for probation violation

A Vicksburg man charged with a probation violation was in the Warren County Jail Saturday night.

Darnell Cole, 50, 1919 Baldwin Ferry Road, was being held for the Mississippi Department of Corrections, jail records showed.
