Ellouise Wilkerson died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. She was 61.

Survivors include a son, David Wayne Welch; a daughter, Carla Welch Weeks; two brothers, James Wilkerson and Elton “Cool Cat” Wilkerson; two sisters, Dee Thomas and Linda Wilkerson Candebat; and two grandsons, Joshua Lee Weeks and Milton Lee Weeks IV.
