Everette Hilton Collins

HOUMA, La. — Everette Hilton Collins died Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at his residence in Houma. He was 67.

Born and reared in Utica, he lived a number of years in Jackson and Texas before moving to Houma 30 years ago. He had been the owner and operator of SOLO Lift and Equipment Co. in Houma for the past 20 years.

He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the Army, and he was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include four daughters, Pamela Nicotra, Deborah Collins and Brenda C. Theriot, all of Houma, and Laura Collins of Raceland, La.; a son, Kenneth Livingston of Houma; a sister, Mary Nell Collins Landin of Utica; a brother, Thomas Edward Collins III of Utica; and seven grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica with Dr. Rocky Henriques officiating. Burial will follow at Lebanon Cemetery.

Visitation will be at noon Tuesday until the hour of service at the funeral home.
