Lucille Amos Brown

Lucille Amos Brown died Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. She was 82.

Mrs. Brown was a member of Mount Hebron Church in Bovina and the Eastern Star. She had worked in private home care.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Brown; her parents, Roberta and Charlie Amos; a son, Leon Ford Amos; and two sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by one daughter, Jannie Amos of Vicksburg; two sisters, Mary Robbins and Berda C. Amos, both of Vicksburg; one brother, Simon Amos of Vicksburg; five grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, including LaToya Brooks, Sharon Allen, Debra Robbison, Patricia Sturgis, Tammy Hatchett and members of the Amos, Britton, Johnson and Phelps families.

Robbins Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
