A Vicksburg man was in the Warren County Jail this morning, accused of trying to buy beer with a stolen credit card.
James Malsbary, 52, 4407 Frontage Road, Lot 14, was identified in a security videotape using the stolen credit card at a convenience store, Lt. Bobby Stewart of the Vicksburg Police Department said.
He is charged with conspiracy to commit credit card fraud, conspiracy to commit a felony and credit card fraud, Stewart said. Malsbary was being held on $30,000 bond.
He is the second person arrested in the case. On Sept. 3, Jean Harrell, 48, 75 Buck Drive, was arrested after being spotted by police on a downtown block of Washington Street.
She is accused of entering an office in the 1400 block of Walnut Street on Aug. 30, stealing a wallet and using credit cards from it to make purchases.
She was released from the Warren County Jail on a $35,000 bond.
