Services for John Adams Jones will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Vicksburg City Auditorium with the Rev. Charlie Blackmore officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 6 p.m. Sunday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Jones died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, at University Medical Center in Jackson. He was 69.

Mr. Jones was a graduate of Rosa A. Temple High School, where he played football. He was a deacon at Mount Zion M.B. Church.
