HATTIESBURG — Judy Lassiter Kincannon, formerly of Vicksburg, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, in Hattiesburg. She was 71.

Mrs. Kincannon was the daughter of the late Marie Colhoun Lassiter and William Warren Lassiter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Holden Van “Pete” Kincannon II of Hattiesburg; her brother, William Warren Lassiter III of Birmingham, Ala.; and a sister, Marie Wailes Smith of Louise, Miss.

She is survived by three sons, Holden Van Kincannon III of Nashville, Tenn., Jon Conner Kincannon of Columbia, S.C., and Robert Craig Kincannon of Hattiesburg; two brothers, Francis Marion Lassiter of Harahan, La., and Robert Preston Wailes of New Orleans; three sisters, Ann Wailes Buchanan of Jackson and Jane Wailes Derivaux and Sally Wailes, both of Vicksburg; and three grandsons.

Services were Sept. 9, 2010, at Trinity Church Episcopal in Hattiesburg. Burial followed at Highland Cemetery in Hattiesburg.
