The engagement of Jessica Michelle White of Holcomb to Gregory Lance Jones of Vicksburg is announced today. Vows will be exchanged at 2 p.m. Oct. 16, 2010, at Bowmar Baptist Church. A reception will follow at the church. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Miss White is the daughter of Michael White of Oxford and Lisa Roberson of Holcomb. She is the granddaughter of Frank and Patsy Lane and the late James and Annie Ruth White, all of Grenada.

Mr. Jones is the son of Mike and Judy Jones of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of B.B. and Margaret Neely of Yazoo City, the late Robert Jones and the late Myrtice Moore.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Grenada High School. She received LPN II certification from Holmes Community College.

Miss White is employed at Grenada Lake Medical Center.

The prospective groom is a 1999 graduate of Vicksburg High School. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Mississippi.

Mr. Jones is store manager for RSC Equipment Rental.
