KCs to fry up fish for fundraiser

The Knights of Columbus Council 898 will host a fish fry Saturday night at the KC Hall on Fisher Ferry Road.

At 6 p.m., fish and all the trimmings will be sold. Adult plates are $8, meals for children 12 and younger are $5, and a maximum of $32 will be charged per family.

Proceeds will benefit the 150th anniversary of Catholic education in Vicksburg. Festivities will be Oct. 29-30.

Turkey dinner set at Crawford Street

The annual turkey dinner sponsored by the United Methodist Women of Crawford Street United Methodist Church is set for Nov. 4.

Served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church will be turkey and dressing, green beans, cranberry sauce, a roll, corn pudding, dessert and tea or water. Tickets are $10 in advance at the church at 900 Crawford St. Call 601-636-5612.

Patrons may dine in or get their meals to go.
