Another tough foe on tap for Eagles

After a brief timeout to stomp overmatched district foe Russell Christian, Porters Chapel will now return to its regularly scheduled grind.

The Eagles head to Flora on Friday night to face undefeated Tri-County. It marks the beginning of a three-game stretch to end the regular season in which PCA will also play Class AA contender Central Hinds (6-1) and a do-or-die game against Newton County Academy that will determine the final playoff berth for District 5-A.

Earlier this season, PCA faced a similar stretch when it played consecutive games against River Oaks, University Christian and Trinity. Those teams have a combined record of 19-2, and PCA (4-3) lost convincingly to all three.
