The Army Corp of Engineers’ Dredge Jadwin deepens the channel near Delta Point Thursday to give barges the depth they need to navigate the Mississippi River safely. The 77 year old boat is dredging the channel to 30 feet deep along 4000 feet of the bend before it moves to its next destination, Victoria Bend.
