Miss Hurley to marry Mr. Altsman Oct. 23

Michael and Suzanne Hurley of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Lynn of Jackson, to Travis Altsman, also of Jackson. Mr. Altsman is the son of Richard and Diane Altsman of Diamondhead.

Miss Hurley is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Hurley of Vicksburg and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Marshall and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Moore, all of Oscoda, Mich.

Mr. Altsman is the grandson of Malcolm Travis of Pascagoula.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Warren Central High School. She attended Mississippi State University.

Miss Hurley is a genetic counseling assistant at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

The prospective groom graduated from high school in 2002. He attended Mississippi State University.

Mr. Altsman is employed with Barlow Eddy Jenkins Architects.

Vows will be exchanged at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 23, 2010, at St. Paul Catholic Church. A reception will follow at the B’nai B’rith Literary Club. All relatives and friends are invited to attend.
