Inez “Bay” Minor Summers died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. She was 77.

A homemaker, Mrs. Summers was a member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benard and Rosa Lee Minor; three brothers, Charles Edward Minor, John William Minor Sr. and Wilbert Minor; and a sister, Edna Minor Harrison.

Survivors include her husband, Riley Summers Jr. of Vicksburg; three sons, Ronald Summers, Riley Summers III and Thomas Summers, all of Vicksburg; three daughters, Brenda Summers, Bernetta Summers and Kathy Summers, all of Vicksburg; one sister, Flordia Corbin of Shelby; two brothers, David Minor Sr. and Karl Minor Sr., both of Vicksburg; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends, including members of the Minor, Harrison and Corbin families.
